  • Pohlyad Members and Friends:

It is that time of the month again! On Tuesday, January 16, we will hold the next Belarus Demonstration which corresponds with the "Day of Solidarity with Belarus." The demonstration will be held at the usual location across from the Belarusian Embassy. Noting that the date is a work day, we have established two separate demonstration times which hopefully will be a more convenient time for all wishing to participate ( see below).

Please spread the word about this demonstration to others you know and encourage them to join us as well. This is a "drop-by" event, and is open to participants throughout the specified time for whatever period of time is available to the individual. Participants to this demonstration will be given another opportunity to suggest additional event ideas to be scheduled and organized this next year to broaden our activities in Washington and elsewhere in the U.S., and we would strongly encourage others who are not able to attend to feel welcome to also make suggestions by sending an email to poglyadinfo@gmail.com, with the subject title "Solidarity Suggestions" with your comments.

As we begin a new year of action, we look forward to seeing you and your friends in a big showing of support for democracy and freedom in Belarus and thank you, on behalf of all of us here at Pohlyad, yet again for your continued support of this most worthy cause.

Thank you once again, and see you on Tuesday, January 16!

Demonstration Location: Across from the Belarusian Embassy 1619 New Hampshire Ave NW, (Near 18th & New Hampshire), Washington, DC 20009 Metro: Dupont Circle (Red Line), Q Street Exit Date: Tuesday, January 16, 2007 Time: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM; 6:00PM to 8:00PM

    Yours for a Free Belarus,

Henry W. Johnson II Founder, Chief Coordinator Belarusian Civil Initiative Pohlyad
